A really great tool to use, almost impossible to clog as waste falls straight through the lattice. Unusually for a Japanese tool it cuts on the push stroke. 25mm wide by 230mm long. Double sided - coarse and fine.

Fantastic tool
This is a typically elegant tool solution from Japan. It combines some of the properties of a Surform plane but the cutting edges look like hacksaw blades on their end. You can use it like a traditional rasp to rapidly shape material, its open design prevents clogging and having a smooth and course side you can get a better finish than with a rasp. It seems less likely to tear soft materials. It has a nicely made handle and is well balanced for either one handed or two handed use, and you could probably use it all day long without it feeling uncomfortable. I'm loving it already. Looks like a vicious cheese grater but out performs anything else i have. My new favorite tool.

Wish I'd bought this sooner!
One of those tools I had my eye on for a while and kept thinking "umm... A bit pricey for a rasp!" I kept seeing them on various videos and I still kept thinking I should buy one. Why on earth didn't I buy one sooner? They make such light work on so many jobs that I do. One harsh side and one lighter side and they work incredibly well. I think it's well made and even though I've used it a fair few times already you can just tell it'll last for a long time. I've mainly used this on Oak and it removes a lot of material very quickly. Best rasp i own by a long way
This rasp gives fast material removal combined but leaves a good surface that really only needs a hand samding to finish. It feels really solid, and the handle is comfortable.
