A special happening that should be remembered always
What a superb collaborative idea this was and has top artists from Scotland, Ireland, England and America. I know there are a good many cds and dads of The Transatlantic Sessions but they are almost unavailable now which is an awful shame as so many will never see or hear it. I was so happy to find this one as I had seen the series and these musicians performing their magic. One outstanding moment to me is that Dougie MacLean who wrote Ready for the Storm and he sits in and lets the wonderful Kathy Mattea sing it and he accompanies her. Such a gentleman and what a beautiful rendition of a great song. There are many more special moments but I'll let you discover them yourself.
