As an Englishman who remembers, as a 16-year old, the true story of pirate radio Caroline, I thought this was a thoroughly enjoyable bit of nostalgia-raising 60's history. The role of politicians in the movie only emphasises the genuine lack of public interest innate to all such creeps. The music on the CD - with one or two exceptions - was brilliant and with the mood and tastes of that time well established, the movie couldn't miss with the words flooding back to the listener! Major disappointment was the awful shouting of Duffy as she or her agent somehow managed to blag her way into having the first song on the CD of "Stay With Me Baby", which happened in the actual film as the excellent original version by Lorraine Ellison! But apart from Duffy's racket, and two other boring songs, it's a great listen!Read full review
