  • World class music at it's best

It's a shame for any music lover to miss out on this concert. Gary Brooker has been writing and performing some of the best British music for over 50 years and is still a master. Good music doesn't age and many of these titles were originally recorded back in th 60s and 70s but sound just as fresh and engaging now, especially with the added support of this Danish orchestra and choir. The whole ensemble look and sound as though they were thoroughly enjoying the performance. The last minute or so of 'Whaling Stories' must rate among the best music I have ever heard. One proviso; If you are not familiar with these compositions, you may not enjoy them fully until you have listened a few times and maybe listen to the original recordings so as to appreciate these arrangements.
