CITY RATS tells the stories of eight people going through their own personal crises, whose lives are connected in some way. In one scenario, a man prepares to throw himself off a building when he spots a fellow suicidal on an adjacent rooftop. United by their suffering, the pair realise that there must be another way out. A down-on-his-luck artist finds inspiration in the unlikeliest of places--the prostitute living next door--but winds up paying a high price for her cooperation. Elsewhere, a gay man leads his deaf-mute brother--who also happens to be gay--through the streets of Soho in an effort to help him lose his virginity. You know what the scary thing is, I actually know what I'm doing!
This is by far, one of Danny Dyers . Best movies I've, seen him act in. CITY RATS, tells the story of eight people. Who live I London, as there stories collide with each other. Such an underrated movie, and everyone in it. Gives a solid performance, the characters in it . You really do care about , cause all of them want to change. What's going on with them and. Turn it round for the better, I only came across seeing it recently on Prime video and. Instantly liked it, have watch it several times. Definitely you should, check out this brilliant under dog of a film. Get the bluray version of it, cos the dvd of it. Seems to be a shorter one of it. Don't know why as it says on it directors cut. But go for the bluray one, as its the full uncut version. This is Danny Dyers best earliest shows he did , and he gives a top notch performance.
