Exactly what I was looking for.
I am so happy with this rocket stove. I was looking for something I could use for camping that was compact but very capable of cooking. This is absolutely amazing. Love the quality. It is tough and built to rock. I love that it comes in the ammo box and that it is American Made.

Great idea
I like how this can be disassembled and put into an ammo can, great idea, but I found that the feed chamber is a bit short and does not feed as well as one might think. Also in my opinion thicker tubing would have been better due to heat transfer. I was able to cook steak as well as heat water for coffee. But you really have to stay on top of feeding more fuel into the feed chamber to maintain the heat. I do like the fact that it is very portable and easy to store making it easy to transport in a small place. I am going to fab one myself and make it larger using the same concept, I'll just use a larger ammo can. These pics were after I was letting the fire burn down.

OK, you'll see this all the time but I just can't help myself. It's a premature review but you can't help but be impressed with the fit and finish of this stove. I purchased this for camping and or any power outages in the future. This Rocket Stove is very well made. This stove is well designed: compact, with self-feeding shoot, has legs you attach, put top/bottom pieces including a stainless grate that fits on top tight, DONE! Everthing here, two-piece stove, 2 pc legs, and grill all fit snug into an ammo can! This Rocket Stove ROCKS! i want to say i still use the rocket stove to this day, it is absolute the best camping item i have ever bought. i will say after 2 years of medium use the its more steel then it is paint on the shaft, but that's expected with how hot this thing gets. -little tip when bringing this to the field, throw in four fire starter logs when going into a area with damp wood. works amazing!!!! it will fit four duraflame Firestart Indoor/Outdoor Firelighters 4.5oz logs. love your product and it was a pleasure to do business with!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great Rocket Stove!
The maker of this rocket stoves clearly takes pride in their work. The bends and welds are clean, everything fits together snug, and each piece fits into the ammo can perfectly. Again, a great design and a great execution. A great answer to portable cooking. You are going to feed this thing a steady diet of sticks etc but in my opinion is worth it and a bit of fun.
