Hasn't aged - still very, very silly
If you liked THE DAY TODAY, BRASS EYE or LOOK AROUND YOU then THE PETER SERAFINOWICZ show is a definite yes. I never usually write reviews but I met him once and he was an absolutely lovely bloke. It's the better part of two decades since it was made but it hasn't aged at all. It's still very silly, very well-made (especially when it comes to the accuracy of how all the clips look - for example if they're meant to be from a certain vintage) and it's still shocking but it's not offensive. He seems to have avoided subject matter which is no longer acceptable. With every episode, a superb Christmas special, a short documentary and commentary on two of the six episodes it will nicely occupy a couple of evenings and it's one of those series you can forget about for a year and then revisit. Such a shame he wasn't commissioned to make more of them.
