    An excellent film

    I can not say much about the film , all great actors and all contributed to a comic interesting story. I am pleased to have this film in my collection and will see it often. This film is much better than any of the later Saint Trinian's film series that followed it.

    This is a very light hearted enjoyable film if you like Margaret Rutherford and Alistair Sims Joyce Grenville you will like this film. It is about a boarding School for boys but unknowns to Alistair sims a Girls school has been sent to his boarding school BY department of Education with out his knowledge and that is when all hell breaks loose it is a good old black and white film if you like old British comedies you will like this film.

    The happiest days if your life

    If you enjoy old school themed movies (e.g the nutty St Trinian's) you will be thrilled by the performances of Alistair Sim and Margaret Rutherford in this consummate comedy. I never tire of this classic British film - which manages to bring order out of chaos by coordination of action and determination to outwit all opposition. Even when the final battle is lost a note of confidence rings out with the application of a sensible compromise. The film is much more expansive (and a lot funnier) than the stage play as the outdoor action is a key part whereas on the stage the action does not move much further than the staff common-room.
