Once again the kudos team use a mixture of pathos and surreal non pc humour, where villains are villains, and David Bowie casts a sinister shadow in central Manchester and an Audi Quatro stalks Piccadilly. Hawes and Glennister Ride Again!
Highly recommended! Hawes and Glennister are magnificent as are the rest of the cast. Compared to series 1, the stories are much darker, twisted and convoluted. If you like cop shows, then Ashes, is a must! I cringed when I heard some of those 80's tunes (some of them weren't bad though.)
