A cult series from the 1960s
This became a cult TV series. It starred Patrick McGoohan, who had previously been in ‘Danger Man.’ It was made in Portmeirion, north Wales, which was an effective backdrop for the story of espionage and imprisonment. Enigmatic barely covers it.
This order began with a conversation about Roy Harper (McGoohan's Blues) and then McGoohan's similarly renegade assault on national TV's sensibilities. I haven't yet started on the book that comes in the set but I'd strongly recommend the 'Making Of...' documentary that comes in the DVD Extras.
