A film about love
A beautiful, slow moving but rich film exploring the prejudice and hypocrisy of religion and how love & good prevails, sometimes. Don't expect fireworks, it's a beautifully written and acted story which examines the kind of difficulties and frustrations people faced in those times but slowly, like a flower unfolding in real time.
