Michael Caine pairs up with young British actor Bill Milner (SON OF RAMBOW) in this touching British drama. Edward (Milner) lives in the retirement home where his parents work, and his interests have unsurprisingly moved toward death, ghosts, and the afterlife. He can't stand living there, but his mood changes when Clarence (Caine) appears. Clarence spent his life performing magic and causing trouble, and he may just be the friend that Edward has been waiting for.
