Eggcellent
Love this little thing. It makes boiling or poaching eggs so much easier and much less time consuming than the conventional method. The cooking instructions are very easy to understand. You have the option of soft, medium or hard boiled and the measuring cup is numbered 1 - 7. So if you wanted two soft boiled eggs, you would fill the cup up to '2' under the soft boiled icon. It's a doddle to clean which is handy as I use it pretty much everyday. I read through the bad reviews before I purchased it but I figured with it being such a 'poultry' amount of money that I might as well whisk it. Also it's small enough that it wouldn't be a hassle to return. I've been using it nearly everyday for a couple of months now and it's still working perfectly so omeletting you know that this is a cracking item for the price. Works great, build quality is terrible

Good little gadget
Easy to use and eggs cook brilliantly in it, only down side to it is it has started to give off a burning smell whilst cooking doesn’t affect the eggs but has marked the steel (burnt) where the water sits. Easy boiled eggs
I purchased this for work as I don't have a hob. Uses only 50ml of water and I get perfect soft boiled eggs in 9 mins. You will learn the correct timing after the first or second time you use it. Conventional methods to boil eggs is far superior!
The item is very 'toy-like' and have doubts it will last for long. Despite its lightness, it still requires 2 hands to move the item as little design thoughts were given regarding the hemispherical shape. The measuring cup needs to be manufactured in a different material so the water volume can be easier to read and access to judge at eye height. Water can boil and seep down the outside of the unit and enter the mains power cable input opening if the egg(s) are 'tallish' and prevent the boiling lid to sit firmly into the unit. Stylish, easy to store
This arrived quickly, to replace another brand that had died. Stainless steel outer makes it look smart, but has very short lead so has to be so close to a socket. Had to adjust given water quantities slightly to taste, and it has a 'hot spot' on one side of the hotplate. A little disappointed
Does the job but takes a while to estimate how much water and how long to cook as the instructions are not very clear. You will have to have several attempts until you get it right for your desired consistency for the perfect boiled egg.
