  • A very charismatic German hero

The DVD outlining the 20 July 1944 plot gives fascinating information about von Stauffenberg's family background and his early life before becoming an office in the Wehrmacht. He was a very charismatic man and this was remarked upon by a relative. It is a very tense documentary lasting 78 minutes and it includes a lot of archive footage from the 1940s. Sound quality is a little wobbly at times and I have yet to watch the second DVD which contains extras. Highly recommended.
