Great book about Benito Juarez and Cinco de Mayo!
Every year I read this book to my second grade and third grade class and I had misplaced my copy of it so I’m so grateful that I was able to purchase it again from eBay! It arrived quickly in great condition just as described. The story is well told and compelling about Benito Juarez and Cinco de Mayo and how the French oligarchy fought with Mexico for many years when Benito Juarez was president of Mexico. The book tells about Benito Juarez his early life and it is a great book for kids! Great illustrations and excellent writing!
