For stop/start animation this really has a mind of its own.... The creators have kept the original movie style but with a fantastic humorous twist and sadistic humour. I love this version of star wars and the animation is well thought out.... Very very funny...... From beginning to end

love the humor, saw this on adult swim and loved it...if u have that odd sense of humor a lot of people don't get, u'll love this.
Star Wars and Robot Chicken are together again... like the twisted dream of feverish nerd who's taken too much cold medicine! That's right, the stop-motion pajama party from Adult Swim collides with the most revered fantasy film franchise of all time in a brand-new special with all the subtlety of a diarrhea-suffering Wookiee pounding on your bathroom door! We're talking AT-AT races! The Galactic Empire's Take-Your-Daughter-to-Work-Day! And more grisly Ewok violence that you can shake a gaffi stick at! And Since Boba Fett increases the sales of any Star Wars product by 800 percent, let us add: Boba Fett in on this DVD! Boba Boba Boba! Fett Fett Fett! (Ka-ching!) Robot Chicken: Star Wars Episode II. If there's a bright center to the entertainment universe, this is the DVD that's farthest from it. There are few things greater than the humor of Robot Chicken combined with the awesomeness of Star Wars, and there's nothing better than an extended episode of a Robot Chicken: Star Wars episode. I guess that makes this one of the greatest, most awesomeness DVDs in the history of the format. This disc includes both the original broadcast version, and the extended cut: Disc 1 (1:00:48) Extended Episode (38:09) Broadcast Episode (22:39) Video The video on this release looks great, which makes sense since they're shooting it using cameras (still cameras), and have full control over the lighting of the scenes. Many of the previous Robot Chicken releases have bits and pieces missing, but that won't be the case with this release since they've received permission from George Lucas to do the episode. In fact, they've included a much longer version of the episode, plus the original broadcast version. Audio They've changed up the audio for this release, offering both an English stereo track, and a Dolby Digital 5.1 track. I listened to the 5.1 track, and was impressed with the number of directional effects they used. It's always nice when you can hear the audio format, not just see it on the back of the box. There are English subtitles on the DVD. Extras Chicken Nuggets Watch the broadcast version of the episode, then press "enter" to access some video commentary. These "nuggets" should have be included separately as well. The Making of RCSW II (6:00) A short making-of of the second RCSW episode, featuring behind-the-scenes shots, and interviews. Animation Meeting (6:28) An animation meeting where Seth acts out some of the sketches. Skywalker Ranch Premiere (4:27) The cast and crew head to a screening at the Skywalker Ranch. 501st Visit (2:37) I guess this is some kind of Star Wars group. Behind the Scenes: Sneak Peek (2:40) A quick behind-the-scenes piece. Accepted/Rejected (3:51) A discussion with the writers about some of their skits, and which ones were accepted, and rejected. Time Lapse (7:12) I love this, a time-lapse look at the work that went into some of the scenes. Production Design (9:18) A couple of the production designers talk about the production design of the episode. Video Blogs (11:12) Blogs on the writing process, voice records and puppet making. Deleted Animatics (0:27) The deleted animatics are amazing. Alternate Audio (8:34) Some alternate audio for some of the skits. On-Air Bumps (2:12) Some bumpers for the special. Trailers (3:17) Various trailers for the episode. Episode Commentaries Found under "Setup," there are SIXRead full review
