    Great for disability aid

    I got this for my mother who has just had a hip replacement and can't walk down tall steps anymore. It is a good size and pretty sturdy and has a nice non-slip top it definitely does the job and we have used a couple of them in different locations around the house, garage and on the garden step. I think this is good value for money and it does the job. It has helped my mum be able to stay independent and navigate home home after what has been a very difficult operation.

    Elderly Disability Stool

    I am reasonably happy with this product, my main concern is that it should be wider, at least the width of the door where it is being used. I did not check the dimensions carefully, just relied on the picture of the item, which I feel is mildly misleading. I had intended to buy another but have changed my mind and will instead search for a wider one, as I feel it would be safer.

    Good product if you have tough feet.

    The non-slip knobs are a bit aggressive on bare feet. They hurt a bit is you come down on your heel. It's just a bit tippy if you step on the edge too quickly, but otherwise stable.

    Lightweight but secure.

    This has been a great help to me in the kitchen. My worktops are a little high for me causing pain in my arthritic shoulders, but this step gives me enough lift to work comfortably. Don't know why I didn't get one sooner.

    Really sturdy with additional features...

    This half step is very sturdy and a good size. In addition is has a "grip" surface to prevent slipping. I now have 3 (front and back doors and shower) and recommend it.

    Extra step.

    It is perfect (almost) for reducing the gap between steps. I have used these now for some time and earlier usage was marred by them cracking in the middle. I have solved this by putting an insert underneath. The insert has to be the correct height.

    This is a great idea - I would however have prefered it wide enough to cover the whole gap of the door.. The space left at either side is off putting.for some folk entering the house. It is of very good quality and was a very good price.
