The box comes with 4 discs and a booklet of concept art. The booklet is a great insight into the design of the show and also contains the list of episodes per disc (this would have been better in a more obvious place in my opion as I initially didnt think there was an episode list. The show itself looks great with character and scenery all stunning. The main characters from the movie of Anakin, Obi-Wan, Yoda, Count Dooku and General Grievous are all portrayed excellently with other characters such as Mace Windu and the other Jedi all being fleshed out. To me I viewed this show as an excellent chnace to expand on General Grievous and even though he is given a very large amount of screen time most of this is him loosing battles, talking before actually delivering a fatal blow (thus missing his chance) and being chastised for failing. The great droid general Jedi killing is therefore not really shown as that at all.... Anakin has a padawan. This is a teriible idea and never really explained other then it was to make him stop being so attached and learn responsibility. He has a padawan but is not a Jedi Master, she is never mentioned in the movies and she is even more rebelious them him. She has clearly been added to give girls a character to follow as Padme is very much reduced to a diplomat in the series. The stories themselves seem to be made up of several 3 part episodes and some stand alone. The stories that follow on to each other are excellent as an actual plot can develop. The links between old star wars and new star wars are great with many references to planets and technoloy from the movies as well as subtle references. The space battles are stunning and the stories featuring the Malevelence ship are perhaps the best in the series. The special features offer insights into the thinkng behind the episodes with the directors, sound editors and designer being interviewed. The designer gives the most insightful information as the directors come across very much as fans who constantly refer to how they spoke to George Lucas about things as if to boast rather then convey facts and the sound editors just come across as trying to be funny. All in all its a great adition to the star wars saga and offers enjoyable episodes, I do however find it difficult to accept some elements of the plot as "cannon" to the movies.Read full review
The animation is not the best in places but bearing in mind this show was delivered with a relatively small budget and a short time scale the creators have excelled themselves. I've not got through the whole set yet but I'm impressed by the detail that goes into the storytelling and the blessing out if characters which are minor in the films it also brings back concepts and storylines from some of the legends material which more die hard fans will appreciate

Entertaining. Addictive, especially for us 'binge watches'. Hey, if it floats our boats, and we're not doing anyone any harm, then 'live-and-let-live' eh? I'm stacking up on box sets for the duration. These pre-owned box sets are ideal. Well recommended.

Fantastic series! I'm not gonna lie - I wasn't very enthusiastic about watching it, but a couple of friends recommended it purely for a further glimpse into the star wars universe and I have to say it was definitely worth it!! I'm slowly working my way through the series but I have to say that with a new story every episode it's really keeping me hooked; so much so I'm finding it hard not to carry on watching the next episodes!! Just because it isn't a film, DO NOT TURN YOUR NOSE UP AT IT!!!!!!!
Better than episodes 1 AND 2 put together. Animation good. Good story lines. Good characterisations. fantastic musical scores.A well presented box set with loads of extras and a fantastic booklet includeded
