A beautiful Christian devotional! A true classic
I have had this devotional for years. A wonderful expounding of God's Word. I read it each morning and each evening. Mr. Spurgeon was greatly used by God. What a beautiful understanding of God's Word. And his writing style is lovely and bold. I purchased two of these devotionals for friends. It is a wonderful, engaging book. Spurgeon has an amazing command of the English language. His illustrations are touching and inspirational. You would be hard-pressed to find a better book to read other than the Bible itself. The meaning he can find an even a part of a verse is astounding and always Biblically sound in doctrine.
