Initially works great
I found a beautiful-looking Dewalt DW788 scrollsaw at a garage sale for $10 (Yes, $10!) The owner took it into the repair shop, and they wanted around $450 to replace the defective motor. He was told the armature had dead spots that made the scrollsaw run erratically. New motors usually cost around $350—until finding this one. It looks and functions identically to the original motor. Runs beautifully. Hope it lasts because I went to talk tp the same repairman, and he said the this Dewalt scrollsaw has an unreliable motor. Hmmmmm.
