FLASH.. Flash.. flash... BACK.. Back.. back... to vinyl days
The 2 problems I see are the faceplate print has very little contrast and the 4 pushbuttons seem a little weak-the springs should be stiffer. The sound quality is very good. I have been using an APT Holman Preamp for the last 35-40 years and the phono preamp is distorting very badly even after heavy cleaning. It went back to the factory about 30 some years ago and was gone for 9 months so I decided to replace it this time. The main feature I was looking for in a preamp, beside phono input, was an external processor loop for the accessories I have, and the C-2 has that option. It allows me to utilize a subsonic synthesizer for the low frequencies that don't record well on vinyl, a 16 band equalizer (hello Ferris Bueler ?), and the greatest little device I ever found, a Burwen Dynamic Noise Filter, that cleans up hissing and scratches.
