Good anime set in Feudal Japan
This anime has lots of violence, gore and sexual violence so be warned hence the 18 rating. The animation is excellent, but the plots for some of the episodes can be a bit confusing and it can be slow at times. Overall it deserves 4 stars. I would highly recommend this for anyone interested in anime set in feudal Japan during the time of the Shogun. Its definitely up there with Sword for Truth and Kai Doh Maru, but not as good as the far more superior Ninja Scroll.
