Morphy Richards filter kettle
We bought this as we’re in a hard water area and the water has recently tasted a bit weird. It has made a huge difference. I don’t mind having to wait for the water to filter through but some may find this annoying as to get a full kettle, you need to fill the top bit up 3 times. It’s not too heavy as it’s plastic and looks quite nice in the kitchen. My only worry is that I lifted the kettle from the base after it had boiled and the main fuse on our house blew! Had to get emergency electricians out! Apparently it was down to a possible surge from the kettle but it has worked fine before and since...bit bizarre!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Not impressed
Although the delivery was impressive, unfortunately the product was not. The lid would not open without a lot of tries, then would not close again! Took ages to fill (due to the filter) but boiled quickly. After using for 3 days the filter holder dropped into the kettle and took over 2 hours (and a lot of bad language) to replace. Sadly, this has been relegated to the back of a cupboard to be used as a spare as I cannot even give it away.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Refurbished
