Uncompromising former model Maddie Hayes (Cybill Shepherd, THE LAST PICTURE SHOW) loses her fortune to an embezzling accountant; all she has left are a few money-losing businesses retained as tax write-offs. Among these is the Blue Moon Detective Agency, which Maddie plans to sell off until the fast-talking detective David Addison (Bruce Willis, DIE HARD, THE SIXTH SENSE, PULP FICTION) convinces her that the business can turn a profit. The two form a partnership, solving the eccentric cases that are forever turning up at Blue Moon. Meanwhile, the wisecracking, smart, but slovenly David and the beautiful, icy, slightly snobbish Maddie navigate the growing romantic tension between them. This release includes the complete series of the show.

Reviews
Time - The show's dialogue is possibly the fastest on TV, the stories are briskly paced and unobtrusive, and Shepherd gets lots of loving close-ups. MOONLIGHTING is a snazzy entry that deserves a full-time job on ABC next fall., The Guardian UK - Willis and Shepherd are superb: a witty, sparky, properly grown-up twosome, subconsciously flirting towards romance then bickering their way back out.
What a joy to go back to the 80’s and watch this series again. Not only an entertaining and funny show but one which never seems to appear on any streaming service or be repeated on terrestrial television. The only to watch is by purchasing this collection. So many episode I didn’t remember it was watching it from scratch. The comedy doesn’t end with the script and permanent because the 80’s fashions, values, lack of tech ,musicals hair add to the comedy. Definitely a must see watch even if it’s just to see Bruce Willis with hair.
