Every Bit As Good as a New Unit - But $120+ Cheaper
The unit behaves flawlessly.- multiple monitoring, device charging, Thunderbolt drive pass-through (used for USB 3.1 Gen 2 NAS/Raid enclosure), great sound and many ports. Not my first Dell refurb and certainly not my last. This is paired with a new Dell XPS 13 Intel 8th Gen 9360, and it replaces a five year old i7-3770 desktop. I no longer need two computers - unplug and go. None of the other docking station manufacturers offer this much value at any price, and buying the Dell refurb brought the price within reason.

Perfect for Windows... Ubuntu might need some help.
Work's perfectly as it should. The only issue I've run into is it's compatibility with Ubuntu out of the box. I haven't tried working through the issues since my main OS is Win 10.

Doesn't work on my PC
Doesn't work for my Razer Blade 15. Probably works well for a Dell Enterprise class laptop, but seems to have issues with consumer models. Seems well made though.

Extremely good docking station
This is a very good docking station. I have an Alienware Area-51 laptop that eats power, but this docking station is able to handle it.
