Sturdy, effective and attractive.
This salad spinner is sturdy, it looks good and it works. The ratchet system which means that you pull the handle to cause the basket to spin rather than turning a handle allows for greater velocity and so drier leaves more quickly. In addition to salad, I dried grated cucumber for a yoghurt dish in seconds. Usually I spend 10 minutes with kitchen paper wringing the juice out of the grated cucumber and it's never dry enough. This spinner did the job. I was worried that the cucumber pieces would come out of the drying basket during the drying process but they didn't.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
