Intel Core 2 Quad overclocker supreme!
The item is perfect for what I have tasked it for. I use it for test bench projects with Intel core 2 Quads. So far the motherboard overclocks each chip excellently. DDR3 support is limited, but handy to have if you have a few 4gb sticks laying around, otherwise I'd stick with using overclocked ddr2. Right now I am using a q6700 overclocked to 3900mhz w/ 6gb ddr2 @ 800mhz with a gtx 1080. I can play Ghost Recon @ 4k resolution 30 fps, Doom 4k ultra @ 60fps with mild intermittent micro stuttering, not enough to affect gameplay. I plan to place a q9650 overclocked to its max with 8gb ddr3 to test the full potential of the board. Right now it is used in an open test bench with a be quiet Shadow rock 2 LP. Temps are at full load 60 degrees Celsius with arctic silver 5 thermal paste. Its a fun little test bench which has become my daily driver (vs my 8700k 1080 ti SLI rig)!Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
