Even with all of this proprietary technology, the P5Q3 motherboard retains its small shape. The P5Q3 is an ATX form factor motherboard that you can easily insert into almost any computer case. Packaged with the P5Q3 is four serial ATA cables, a manual, and a software disc. These items will help you get the most out of your motherboard.This board is compatible with the Intel Core CPU assortment. Compatible processors include the Core 2 Duo and Core 2 Extreme. The Intel P45 chipset on this board helps you get the most out of your CPU. If your CPU overheats, this board will automatically shut down your PC. The overclocking feature on this board will allow you to overclock your processor in 1 GHz increments. Like other ASUS motherboards, this board supports up to six SATA hard drives. The board also supports SSD drives as well. Vintage but fast!
I could rebuild my best pc with this motherboard, mine burnt after 5 years because of smoke and dust. Never put a fan under the motherboard even if the cabinet allows it: impossible to clean. With this motherboard I cannot overclock the ram over 1600MHz even if the dimms are 2133MHz but the Q9550 cpu runs very stable at 4GHz (471MHz FSB).
