SynopsisOne of the first books in our new Basics of Sculpture series. This aims to give the beginner a broad basic knowledge of how to sculpt in wood. Step-by-step photos illustrate how to go about it, and machinery is kept to a minimum so that the beginner can make several pieces on a slim budget with just a few tools. The book is filled with projects of increasing difficulty so that the reader can progress in his or her skill level. The projects gradually become more difficult, and in the final project power tools are introduced.
