A decent rope for advance skippers and great price!
Overall This is a great rope, it has heavy steel handles, a steel cable with a plastic coating cover- I’m an advance skipper so needed a something durable and something that can give me a good work out as I can skip for an hour. I have purchased many ropes over the years and I’ve always found it very difficult to find a decent rope, most usually snap within a few uses. I thought I’d give this rope a go and so far it’s been doing wonders, if there’s one niggle I just wish it was faster (don’t get me wrong it is quick - but I’m at a level where i like them fast!! ) I have found a solution that works for me- I’ve put some heavy duty tape on the bottom of the rope with makes it heavier so faster - just the speed I like. Positive: heavy handles, durable, good size. Works the shoulders, arms sue the heaviness if the handles. Negative : as I’m advance skipper just wish it was faster - I actually bought one for a friend and he loves it. Design flaw.
Rope is generally well made but there is a design flaw - while skipping rope travels in a circular motion rubbing on the sharp handles edge, sharp handle edge cuts into the rope plastic protection layer and then into the wiring itself, after a while rope is obsolete. I like this rope but something to protect the sharp handle edge would resolve this issue, I would be willing to pay extra for that as this is generally a good product at a great price.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

If u want a great skipping rope that has both weighted handles and rope, then this is the best rope out there. Used lots of ropes over the years but these are the very best.
