So very simple in every respect

great for disabled people
My mum has MS and is in a wheelchair. Sadly she dropped a kettle of boiling water on her lap some months ago causing severe burns. A disabled tilt kettle was also not safe enough. I ordered a Delonghi EDG420.B Melody 3 Nescafe Dolce Gusto Coffee Capsule Machine for her and it has been wonderful. She can now SAFELY make a single coffee for herself which is has done her sense of self esteem so much good. She can also make instant coffee and a cup tea with a standard teabag simply by leaving the capsule out and running the machine with no capsule. The hot water goes straight into a cup with a teabag in it. Voila :) Awesome solution. My only negative comment is that there is a lot of plastic waste with the capsules. But as she uses it without capsules sometimes it lessens the waste.
