Great big band lead horn
The 2B Silvertone/Silversonic isn't for everything, but it's hard to find a better big band lead horn. The heavy sterling bell doesn't have the warmth or richness of overtones of a medium-weight yellow or red brass bell (my other jazz horn is a 1957 Conn 10H--like a 6H, but with the Coprion bell, and I have an Edwards 350-T, Rath R9, and a couple of others), and the horn is on the heavy side for something of its size, but the projection in all ranges is fantastic, and it's capable of that pure high Dorsey sound in the altissimo range, if you can play up there. If you need to balance a strong trumpet section in a big band, this is the horn. Also nice for pieces like those Arthur Pryor solos.

Vintage King 2B "Liberty" Trombone
This is a vintage, H.N. White King manufactured, King 2B Liberty tenor trombone. A serial number search indicates it was manufactured in 1947. The brass has a beautiful chocolate patina, making it very unique. Being a small-bore "pea shooter", it's perfect for playing jazz, with it's quick slide action. It was acquired for a High-School student to play in jazz band, and it's currently being played in multiple jazz ensembles at college level.
