Glasgow was the last trolleybus system to be inaugurated in the British Isles, the system opening on 3 April 1949 but lasted a total of only 18 years. CLASSIC TRAMS, TROLLEYBUSES, BUSES & COACHES. Electric trams first appeared in Great Britain at the end of the 19th century.
Two of the DVD's are very good but The 'Trams' DVD is awful.
Loud mindnumbing 'background' organ music comes in at 3 minutes in and never stops.
A few bars of the same blaring music going round and round in a loop for 55 minutes.
Why put it in when it's not on the other two DVD's?
At 50.50 the narrator states that 'Tramcar 3009 is from Berlin' when 3006 is blazoned on the front in big numbers.
The shaky hand held shots on the Blackpool tram should have been left out also.
The other two DVD's can be bought individually for about half the price of this 3 DVD set.
I would recommend the 'Trolleybuses' and the 'Buses & Coaches' DVD's but definitely not the 'Trams' one.
