With a sharp chain, there is no job too big for this saw. It's a bit on the heavy side for a firewood saw, but I use mine for felling and milling. I've never tried the 3120, 880, or 660, but with saw I don't think I'll ever need to. I have used it for firewood too and it makes quick work of a tree. Last tree I cut was a 24" white oak. It took me 1hr 30 min to fell limb and buck the tree. Keep in mind I'm an out of shape newb.

Put a 42" bar on this saw. Have cut oak and maple with it up to 50" in diameter! Cuts like a beast... tons of power! Wood chips come out by the shovel full! It has a healthy appetite for gas which is understandable! I have no complaints and would definitely buy again!

Started as soon as fuel got to the carburetor. Ran it for 5mins and shut it down. Came back in 10 mins and it started with the warm start procedure on the first pull.

This is truly a professional quality saw. It powers thru oak with that 36" blade without a second thought. Easy to start, thanks to the compression relief valve. This is not a casual wood cutter. This is what you use when you have 3' diameter or greater trees that need to be cut down and cut into rounds.

Strong saw will shred your chain but is worth it because I hate a lac of power!
