BEST hairspray for heat styling I have ever used! I love it! When using a flat iron I spray this and then flatten my hair and add a curl in at the ends of my hair. Kenra never lets me down! Holds my style with no problems ALL DAY! Even the next day it is still curled under! I don't notice any damage from using it with my flat iron, either! Once I tried it, I was hooked! Smells cheap.. A no go for thin fine hair!
I purchased this after reading some reviews. They stated it was good for fine thin hair which I have. I received this in the mail and it had leaked some into the package it came in. Immediately I questioned the quality just by the way it smelled. Smells to me like cheap suave hair spray that you would get from wal-mart. I even went to Ulta and smelled theirs to make sure I got the real deal. It smelled exactly the same. It also makes my hair sticky and weighs it down a lot. I went back and purchased chi iron guard. Good and Bad
This product works really well to help hold a curl and give body yet I have fine thin hair and it is sometimes a little too much and dries my hair out a little. Be careful to not spray it on and then take the hot curling iron to it right away- it will sizzles like it is frying and not kidding you will hear it and see the steam. This is THE BEST hairspray I have ever had! I use it like it says to, with heat styling, I spray my hair in sections before I curl it on the ends so my hair curls under on the sides and back and then I do the same when I curl the sides. I use a straightner so it makes my hair soft and smoothe and straight all down to the ends and then curls under. This hairspray holds my hair ALL day and even after sleeping on it and can even be refreshed with a small amount and a little hit with the hea iron again for the next day if needed. It smells wonderful, and even though it holds very well, it is still soft and looks natural! You do need to follow the directions and use it with heat for best results. Can’t do my hair without it!
My hair is thick, but fine, and without a perm, I cannot get it to stay on A curling iron long enough to curl. My beautician suggested I use this product and it’s been a lifesaver. This gives my hair enough body to curl.
