Good Device, Easy to Use
I had one of these when they first came out and I loved it. It's lightweight, simple to use, sports the classic iPod style and even had a video camera. However, it was stolen a couple months after I got it and I've wanted another one ever since. I'll use my previous as well as my current experience to lay out the pros and cons of the iPod Nano 5G. PROS + Extremely Light: This could also be a con since it's easy to forget it's still in your pocket. + Sleek: it's cool looking and is smooth to the touch + Classic iPod Dial: I had an iPod Video up until recently when the motherboard on that device failed, and I don't like having to use a touch screen on my music device; the dial is perfect for skipping songs or pausing while the iPod is in my pocket. + Video Camera: Not something I use often but is great to have just in case. + Strong Battery: Power isn't a problem with this since there's no touch screen to drain the battery all the time. + Radio Tuner: I work at a radio station and having the ability to tune in is a big bonus! CONS - Storage: Maxing out at 16GB isn't ideal for someone with a large music library. - Fragile: If you don't have an extra case on it, the iPod feels like it could be damaged by even the lightest of bumps. - Video Camera: Yes, this is both a pro and a con. The camera ONLY takes video, no photos. Kinda dumb. Overall, this device is worth it if you can find one in relatively good condition. It's so good that I think Apple will likely bring these back as a "Retro" item and charge a fortune for it so best to hop on one of the fifth gen. ones while you can.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Love my new iPod!
I had a little trouble populating my new iPod but it could have been my own fault. Once my music was there I was thrilled. I'm a landscape and nature photographer and I can't take photos without my music. This iPod goes with me on my shoots. I wish Apple would go back to making iPod Nano. Eventually one day it will be even harder to find these little miracles and what will I do then? I love this iPod. It's my only red one.
