Does what it says it’ll do
I’ve used the Neutrogena Clear Pore Mask for years — it softens the “plugs” of sebum in my pores while the clay sets. When I wash it off, a lot of the sebum washes away with the clay, allowing my pores close more and be smaller. The softening lasts longer than just immediately after I use the clay, and the sebum deeper down in my pores continues to diminish over the following several days. It also contains a high concentrate of benzyl peroxide rather than just usual 2% salicylic acid; this difference seems to work better on blemishes such as blackheads especially when used as a mask.
