fabulous bookshelf speakers
Wharfedale make excellent speakers and have been doing so for a long time. These arrived beautifully packed giving the impression that Wharfedale are rightly proud of their product. Mine are running from Alexa, via a simple amp and are mounted at ceiling height in the kitchen. The sound is powerful and punchy yet also refined and detailed. Front-facing bass ports make them unfussy as to how close to the rear wall they are, which in my case is ideal. Close your eyes and they sound like much larger speakers. And they look the business! Wharfedale is a name that's been familiar to hifi buyers for years but I've never owned that brand. Needing a smaller pair of speakers for a smaller place to replace a larger existing pair I scrolled all the hifi reviews of this product & despite being tempted by other manufacturers I couldn't resist buying these.
