I bought this to do canvas and glosy posters. The printer is easy to use but rather slow. The quality is great and have no problems at all. The ink is expensive compared to others but we always use original cartridges.
I chose this printer because of it's super small droplet size (3.5 picolitre), it's high resolution output(2400dpi), it's colour fastness (75-100yrs), it's straight thru feed (upto 1.5mm thick), and it's 8 colour print system. Experience has shown this to be a lovely printer - the best I have ever used. It's polite and well behaved, it impresses visitors with it's polite yet powerful sounding noises and the adjustable media vacuum makes absolute common sense. Print quality is jawdropping and has redefined my definition of what a good quality print should be. It's a bit of a pain to use on small media, (ie, the A4 minimum size), so if you want to print letters and invoices, buy a smaller, dedicated machine. When I received it, the machine had not been used for three months and thus the heads were a little blocked, yet three or four cleanses followed by a few pages printing quickly cleared that. Advice is to buy this machine to use, not only to look at.Read full review
