It's awesome. So awesome I bought it brand new as a school computer to replace my high-school eMachines W3622, and I don't feel sad for lack of any Lion features, or the features from the North American version of the Lion that mostly lives in the mountains. This iMac is so awesome, not to say that it has bolloxed up the iTunes library a few times, and that it hasn't had SOME problems with supposedly easy tasks, but I don't care too much, as it has been a real trooper, and I am forever in it's debt. It gave me a few weeks of feeling on top of the Apple world, which is more than I could say for our indigo iMac G3 purchased 6 years plus money acquisition time earlier. (The iMac G4 had already been released, and I still wanted any kind of iMac any way I could get it, but I was hoping for Graphite.) But back to this iMac. Even though it is 64-bit enough for Mountain Lion, I like to think of it as a high-end 32-bit computer, capable of doing things 32-bit addressing capable Macs of many moons ago could never dream of, such as holding a full 4GB RAM, running an OS that provides features Mac OS X 10.1 or even 10.3 can't even begin to touch, and it makes me proud to own an Intel Mac, which I never thought I would actually say. This Mac is definitely a worthy successor to the legacy of the original 128k, despite it being more of a 512k equivalent than a real 128k equivalent. It just works when not over-stressed just like a 128k does. The specs are so well represented, I don't feel the need to list them here. I wrap my review up by saying this is the iMac that I want in my bedroom for a long old time.Read full review
This one works perfectly and is a simple computer, yet powerful and efficient. The first one I bought was junk and took over 5 months before Apple realized it also. It didn't work correctly out of the box, and their claim to be able to fix it proved false, yet it wasn't for all that time that they were willing to do what they should have done the first week I bought it. The screen is incredible and with the new Magic Mouse, is a pleasure to use. Apple eventually replaced the first one with a new 27 inch iMac, which is great as well.
Derrick of GoodWorld Computing is a real find! The 2007 vintage iMac looked and functioned like it had just left the Apple factory. Not only did he do an excellent hardware restoration of the older iMac that my specific application required (and purchased from him), he was available to talk me through the system set-up necessary to exactly duplicate an existing installation. When I require vintage Mac hardware in the future, I will ONLY buy from Derrick of GoodWorld!

I have had this computer for a year now and it has worked perfectly. It is fast, reliable, and does not take up too much desktop space. The compatibility with my other computers at work and my sons school has been great with programs like Microsoft Word and Power Point. The media capabilities of this computer are also second to none. Having all your pictures, music, and movies in one place makes life so very convenient. I would recommend this computer to anyone!
