Great product but discontinued
The price is high due to discontinuation of the product by the manufacturer - I had used it for years and was glad to find it available at all. If you consider the number of times you can shampoo using one bottle, the cost per day is much less than a coffee.

good stuff
This is my favorite shampoo of all time. I can't imagine why it was discontinued. It used to sell for $6, so that's why it isn't a good value here.

Too bad it was discontinued
One of these days American corporations will pay heed to the adage "if it ain't broke, don't fix it." This is (actually, was) a great product, so Neutrogena discontinued it. I am grateful that I could find it on eBay for my wife
