The C neck is mahogany gloss-finished and has a scale length of 25.3 inches. The 20-fret rosewood fingerboard has pearly dot inlays and a radius of 11.81 inches. The nut has a width of 1.69 inches and is made with Graph Tech Nubone. This instrument has a dual-action truss rod for easier adjustment. The recommended gauge of strings is .012-.052. The Fishman Presys preamp/pickup system has a built-in tuner that can be activated with the push of a button. When you connect a standard quarter-inch instrument cable using the input jack, the battery light will flash to indicate it is active. If the battery light stays on, it’s easy to replace the battery. Defective
Many of the $300 versions of this guitar are demos and they have a neck "hump" which means that when you tighten the truss bar to lower the string action, you will get much fret buzz at the higher frets.
