    Pignose 7-300 Rechargable Bass Amplifier

This is a fantastic little combo amp. Works perfectly. Mandolin, 12 string acoustic guitar, semi-hollow electric guitar, Fender P Bass guitar all sound fantastic through it, and I can carry it out back and play in the garden and watch the kids play. I'm going to have to get a few more Pignose products.

    Old news

Worst sounding bass amp ever. Sounds like paper thin speaker. Poorly made cheap looking materials. Roland micro bass cube is way better & just as loud. I stepped it up and got the pjb double four & will never look back. If u like a nice clean bass tone then u won’t like this amp

  • Nice cordless option for acoustic bass.

Decent sound running my acoustic bass through it. Buzzes a little with the low frequencies but somewhat imperceptible playing live. Battery life has been good for several hours. Value is good but they used to be $100 or so cheaper years ago. I'm happy with the purchase. I satisfies my need to amplify cordless in an acoustic environment.

  • Read review before buying....

This is a great portable bass amp. It's very loud and simple to use. My only reason it's not a 5 star is that it does not have a aux in to use a phone or tablet for additional music playing through. I used my aby pedal box and this will not fix the issue for playing a phone or table and instrument at the same time. Just remember there is an additional input in the rear but only plays one input at a time not both. So if your looking for a portable amp with aux in capability this is NOT it. If your looking to practice by the pool, camping or what not and aux in is not an issue then this is perfect.

  • Pignose HOG 30 Amplfier

The HOG has a cool look that sets it apart from most. My HOG was pre-owned and not sure how old it is but the The amp was bigger and heavier than expected but still very portable. Rechargeable batteries are a great idea. Someday when they finally wear out for good, the replacement cost is very low. Mine was sold with the caution that the pots are scratchy, which they are. But that is something I intend to work on myself and learn a few things in the process. The surprising thing (and my favorite thing) is the full, warm tone. Much better than expected, and quite suitable for home recording. This HOG will be with me for a long time.

  • A Nose for Fun

I got this so I could haul it around and play my Rambler without needing a AC outlet, It does just that, plus I plug in my mice in the back my guitar through my POD then into the HOG, and "Viola",rock&roll! Very fun, loud enough for the great outdoors portable, stand alone amplifier. Have Fun, WESTWENS

  • Its good for what it's for

Not very loud and the funk switch sounds like garbo. It's great for playing with acoustic guitar friends

I remember the first Pignose amps in the early 80's. Wanted a portable battery operated amp so bought this. Sound is real weird not sure what I think about it yet. It does get loud.

  • Love the Pignose rechargeable amp!

My acoustic bass can now meet levels of a good acoustic guitar and I can play anywhere. Relatively lightweight and good tone! I love it!
