Chinese Gretsch Guitars are Worth A Look
It is only my first impressions because the guitar only arrived a couple of weeks ago, but I'm impressed with the apparent build quality of this instrument. The finish, feel and sound quality is excellent. Intonation is perfect. I only had to adjust the truss rod a little to suit my taste. This is the first guitar I have owned that has a Bigsby vibrato and as such, it is much more subtle than what I'm used to with the PRS design that I have on my main 6 string. It works and it doesn't seem to put the guitar out of tune, so no complaints. It just doesn't vary the pitch anywhere near what I'm used to. My only disappointment was that, like the Model T Ford, it appears to be available in only one color. I could be wrong about that, but I haven't seen any other versions. It's only a personal preference, but given the choice, I would have liked almost any wood finish more than a paint job.
