The best well kept secret!
I owed 2 Boss SD2 in the past, sold them and tried other drive pedals, Dirty Little Secret, Plimsoul, Soulfood, Pallisades, Route 66, and others including the well revered Tube Screamer, but I've been coming back to the SD2 after a while. Now I owe two again. There is something about this pedal that is hard to describe, I think ois more like a personal revelation:, the tone is great, stacks perfectly with other drives and pretty much any decent amp. you have two different channels (crunch and lead) and you can remote control the pedal. At this price I don't think there are many choices with the same quality and specifications. Can it be better, probably, maybe in the future people at JHS or Keeley will venture into doing Mods for this pedal, in the meanwhile.......Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Great lead channel, crunch is harsh on its own
Had this pedal back when they were in production and regretted selling it, so tracked down another. The crunch channel is bright and harsh, but stacks well with other pedals.
