Bought this as a used item, so this review is based on condition and second-hand value. Although I've only had this Hitachi Ultrastar HDD a short time it has performed flawlessly, is very quiet, and its enormous capacity of 1TB means that it should prove to be extremely good value, provided it stays reliable. UPDATE: Just reading through some reviews and noticed this one. The Hitachi 1TB HDD is still going strong as of July 2020 [over 7 years later] and is used almost every day as a data disk carrying big media files. Probably my best ever computer parts purchase.
