Powerful little package
Small and handy little amp modeler / multi-effect "pedal" with wide tone customizability. Quick to learn, easy to use, good quality when recording. The factory tones weren't that great though, but making your own tones or downloading community-made tones from Line6 CustomTone will change that. This thing rocks!!!
I know there are a lot of folks who will say, “Oh nothing sounds like Amp X but Amp X..” but I don’t want to sound like every other monkey with a Diezel VH4 or Bogner Ecstasy, but there are some elements of those sounds and many others that I find inspiring, and that speak to me on a musical level. And the X3 gives you those starting points in spades! Ive completely revamped my rig around it, and have planned some other additions based on it. Great product even for the modern studio
If you have difficulty getting solid recordings in your home due to poor room dynamics or a sleeping wife this is a solid product to get your ideas down, sound good in a mix with minimal EQ and work.
