Champion plugs have been around for years, when older British cars were made such as the BMC A,B and C series engined models, the development of these engines were in conjunction with Champion, who supplied the original equiptment spark plugs, so these are correct fitment. Many alternative makes are available, but are more or less correct as the heat range is not always an exact specification copy, but will do the job, As an Austin trained mechanic 61 years ago, and still spannering on classic mini's daily, I fit Champion as specified, and use Japanese plugs on Japanese vehicles.

These plugs always make a big difference to the running of my MGB. I've tried other makes of plug but the engine never seems to run as well.
