The genuine Hasselblad Bayonet 60 (Bay 60) polarizing filter - use the best
If you want to use a polarizing filter with Hasselblad lenses that have a Bayonet 60 (Bay 60) mount, this is the filter to use. It was probably made by B+W or Heliopan in Germany and is top-quality. It is thin enough to not cause vignetting on the 50mm f/4.0 Distagon lens. If you use a Bay 60 to 67mm adapter ring and then mount a 67mm screw-in filter, the filter mount projects far enough in front of the lens to cause a minor amount of vignetting. Note: this Hasselblad polarizer is a linear type. Don't fall for the advertising doodoo that you must buy a CPL (circular) polarizer; for a camera without a light meter that measures through the mirror, a linear will be fine. Linears will work perfectly on any mirrorless camera, as well, despite what the "experts" on forums will claim.
