As Always, Total Awesomeness!
As always, I wasn't disappointed in this collection of comics from the 80's and 90's by Bill Watterson! I love how he can create such varied expression with Calvin and his mom! My personal favorite was the one where you see Calvin's mom from Calvin's prospective, and his mom is jiggling violently and telling him "That's Enough!" And Calvin is walking with Hobbes later, and he says "Mom was really jiggling around this morning!" and Hobbes replies, "Maybe she's right about how much sugar you put on your cereal." Only bc its Calvin and Hobbes
I loved this comic strip since it was first written, the book was bought for my nieces and nephews and I'm sure they'll love it as much as my children and I do. When buying books online, hindsight being 20/20, always ask for more pictures. This book stated it had previous owners but the wear and tear, I would've chosen something different. What can I say? Calvin and Hobbes is a MUST for all cartoon lovers! This timeless cartoon from the 80s-90s is still one of my favorite! I couldn't resist and buy the hard-cover copy when I found out about it! It was difficult to find a new book as most were either pre-owned or overpriced but you can get just as lucky as I was.
